Klaus Salge

Klaus Salge, born in 1941, started his carrier as a documentarist after finishing his studies of sociology and socialpsychology in 1972.
 His filmic activities were from the very beginning concentrated at TV and cinema documentaries around cultural and social issues: Films around music, specially with Mikis Theodorakis (1974 – his first concert at the Karaiskaki Stadium Piraeus after Greek dictatorship), films around literature (for example with the dutch author Harry Mulisch), films around politics (for example the film “A blonde Province “ about Poland and Nazi Racial Obsession, which was voted as the best German–Polish filmproduction in 2010), and portrait films like „Mikis Theodorakis. Composer“ (2010) and “The brief life of Chris Gueffroy – why to risk his life?“ (2011), a film about the last killed person at the Berlin wall in 1989.
